Writing W5

This week for writing we had to make a narrative story. To get our ideas we got to go on pobble which is a site that has 365 pictures one for each day of the year and chose a day to write about. I chose the invisible man. The story we had to write had to be 200 to 300 words long, my story ended up to be 288 words.

Math W5

This week for math we are learning how to use scatter plots. To get our data we asked 10 people two questions. my question were how old are you and how long do you normally sleep. This was a pretty fun lesson and it's great that we now know how to make a scatter plot.

Reading W5

This week for reading we had to read a article and anwser 5 questions about it. After we fineshed  we had to create a DLO that includes a summary about the text, 2 facts we lernt, 3 questions we have about the text and to share our opinions about the text we read. I chose an article about a turtle benefiting from covid-19.

Math W4

This week for math we are learning probability. We got to pick six things we like to do in a time like this and then put it on a wheel and spin it 60 times. After that we made a graph about the results. After we got our results we made sub questions. Here are my results.

Reading W4

This week had to make a DLO on one of the four books  they gave us. We had to do two texts on what we could relate to in the text and our prior knowledge. I read a text about 5 kids trapped in a bunker becayse there was a dangrus gas in the air. For my DLO i made a comic strip, here it is.

Writing W4

This week for writing we made poems. I made two diamante poems. Diamante poems are when you have one noun than two adjectives than three verbs and four nouns and then the verbs adjectives and nouns again so it kind of looks like a diamond. Here are my two poems.
