Poem.

This week we did poems for writing we lernt what type of poems there is and then we got to choose what type of poem we want to do. We got ot pick out of four types there was Limerick, Haiku, Comparisons, Cinquain. I'm doing Comparisons poem about water polo.
Here it is if you want to read it.

As you slip in the water
The coolness gives you a chill
And the players set in a line
Seven on seven what a thrill

The ref blows his whistle
And you lunge at your foe
Where's the ball? Where's the air?
Come on, let's go!

You win the ball back the nerves
Down your spine give you goosebumps
As you push to try to score and you shoot
Hoping that it will go in.

Have you wrote a poem before?

Diketo

Equipment: One stone that can fit in  your palm, 10 pebbles per person so 20that are quite small, a circle that is very visible and can fit around 20 little stones.

Grab a friend that wants to play.
know how to play place all your 20 stones in the circle ut split them into two groups
Get your get your bigger stone or golf ball and toss it straight up into the air and grab your ten stone and slide theme outside the circle.
Than toss the ball or stone back up in the air and only grad nine stones and slide them back in the circle.
If you don't get all of the stones out or in the circle or the one that you throw up hits the ground it doesn't count and you have to put all the stones back and you can't take any.

KOESISTERS

Ingredients
700 g cake flour
50 g ground cinnamon
20 g ground ginger
10 ml ground aniseed
10 g instant yeast
10 ml dried and ground Mandarin
100 g butter
200 ml lukewarm milk
1 egg, beaten
lukewarm water
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of water

Mix all the dry ingredients (except the sugar) together.
Heat the milk and butter until lukewarm and then add the beaten egg.

Add this mixture to the bowl of dry ingredients and then add lukewarm water to form a soft dough.

Cover and leave the dough to rise until double in size and then take small amounts of dough and form into oval-shaped balls.

Deep fry in oil on medium heat until evenly browned. Put them on kitchen towel and leave them to cool (around 30 minutes).

In the meantime, heat the sugar and two cups of water on a low heat, stirring continuously until a thick syrup forms.

Once the koesisters are cool, boil them in syrup for one minute.

Wainui camp

Image result for wainui caMp

For camp we did lots of things like costarring, high ropes, kayaking, out door living, archery, orienteering, Breakout EDU and sports, search and rescue, raft building. We had to do reflection on camp and here it is.

Something that I found challenging was high ropes because I'm not really used to high stuff and I faced my fear. The climbing was really hard for me but I enjoyed it alot.

Something I found fun for me it was the costarring because we got to jump off the rock and I picked up a star fish for the first time and I love exploring and getting to see new places. I also licked the out door living because we got to build a hut and do some more exploring and then after we got to lite a fire what was pretty cool.

Something I learnt was the out door living and the archery because with the out door living I learnt the pine needles are water proof  and the make things stronger and more stable. With archery I learnt how to use a bow and arrow.

I am grateful for the food that the teachers cooked for us and all the stuff that helped us and taught us how to do thing that I haven't done before.
